Heidi Cross was nominated the Ostomy Nurse of the Year

Unable to plan winter meetings this year due to poor weather and large geographic area (Western and Central NY State).
Two members from our affiliate, Dr. Mary Wilde and Beth Helvig, have received funding for research project.
Heidi Cross traveled with an upstate NY Medical Team to Southern Sudan to teach wound care to Physicians and Nurses using donations from Vendors.
Cathy Van Houten had a poster accepted for National Conference re: Pressure Ulcer Prevention in ICU.
Medline hosted a dinner in March with a presentation by Dr. Debachick Chakravarthy re: Better Skin Care and Wound Healing through Chemistry: Collagen, Extracellular Matrix, Cyanoacrylates.
