Congratulations to Nancy Roberts RN, MPA, CWOCN who was honored by the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre for her excellence in Pressure Ulcer Prevention.
Congratulations also to Joyce McDonough RN, MSN, CWOCH was also honored as Outstanding Nurse of the Year on Nurser Day 2009.
Over 170 persons attended the Scranton Regional Conference this year.
There were 55 vendors present.
Eleven Posters were submitted.
First prize went to Melissa Stolleys group for their poster on Fecal Incontinence. They received a gift certificate for $50.00.
Nurse of Distinction award was presented to Janet Mallet. Her biography was read to the membership. It is truly global and covered so many accomplishments it is not possible to include all she has achieved in these minutes. (Joyce McDonough)

We will not meet until May or June 2010.
No meeting schedule set up for 2010.
CONCERNS OF MEMBERS:
None voiced.
EDUCATIONAL EVENTS:
Members are planning to attend the Fall Conference, no one is planning on attending
the WOCN June Conference.
Some members will be attending the Central Park run/walk for colorectal cancer.
Joyce McDonough to educational poster at Mercy Hospital for CASUAL Day to highlight
the benefits of the WOCN support groups.
