Last year's winner was Janice Malett, pictured left, was given recognition for her contributions to the wound, ostomy, continence nursing specialty as a clinical expert, teacher and lecturer.

The Nurse of Distinction prior to that year was Nancy A. Faller. Nancy has served as a true inspiration to all that have had the opportunity to work with her in the field of Enterostomal Therapy Nursing.

Joyce McDonough RN, MSN, CWOCN was honored as Outstanding Nurse of the Year on Nurses Day 2009.

Patti Harris RN, CWOCN just completed her Nurse Practitioner program.
